功能與作用機(jī)制

FGF-4是一種有效的促有絲分裂原和形態(tài)發(fā)生素。其作用具有情境依賴(lài)性，因細(xì)胞類(lèi)型、濃度以及其他因子的存在而異。

1、維持多能性與啟動(dòng)分化： 在胚胎干細(xì)胞和誘導(dǎo)多能干細(xì)胞中，FGF-4有助于維持多能性，并啟動(dòng)細(xì)胞向特定譜系（特別是中胚層譜系）分化。

2、肢芽發(fā)育： 這是其在胚胎發(fā)育中的經(jīng)典作用。FGF-4在肢芽的頂端外胚層嵴中表達(dá)，通過(guò)刺激下方間充質(zhì)細(xì)胞的增殖，對(duì)肢體的生長(zhǎng)和模式形成至關(guān)重要。
