Background: Podocalyxin-like protein （PODXL） is a transmembrane sialomucin that is similar instructure to the well-characterized L-selectin ligand CD34. PCLP has been shown previously to be expressed on the foot processes of podocytes in the kidney glomerulus as well as on vascular endothelium at some sites. PODXL also has a putative role as a diagnostic marker for a number of cancers including pancreatic ductal carcinomas and prostate cancer.

             · Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Storage:    Store at –20 ºC for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20ºC. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody, the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 ºC.
